Terms & Conditions of sale
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre website.

The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms & conditions.

Description of Goods
EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre has made every effort to set all the product information on this site including images and specifications. However, these are derived from third party i.e. manufacturers, brochures, Internet etc for description and illustrations only. on EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre is not responsible for these images or specifications. Further information can be found on manufacturer's websites.

Product Availability
All the products are subject to availability and can change prior to delivery without notice. If this is the case, you will be notified by phone or email.
Product Pricing

All products and prices including special offers are subject to change or discontinuation without notice. Whilst we try to ensure prices and product information is accurate on out website, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders (even if the payment has been charged) for goods that have been advertised at an incorrect price, showing the wrong photograph or description.

If we discover any pricing errors before we process your order, you will be notified immediately with the option to re submit your order at the correct price or cancel the order.

Printing and Pricing errors
We thrive in being very competitive with our prices but should product be listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed.

If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price.
All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT and delivery.

Payment Methods
We accept most major credit and debit cards; these include Visa, MasterCard and Switch. We will require cardholder's full details including name, address and telephone number as registered with credit card issuing bank. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorization of your credit card has been properly received. Check or postal orders are accepted although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 7-10 working days.

The goods can only be shipped to the billing address of the card holder.

Delivery
We do free UK mainland delivery within 2-3 working days on clearance of payment. Normally all orders are dispatched when the order is processed and address verification is complete, any delays in these processes may delay delivery times. Product availability will also have an effect on delivery of a couple of days or longer. In case of a longer delay, you will be notified via email or telephone as soon as possible.

All orders are carefully packed and dispatched and are fully insured against lost or damage. Saturday delivery can be arranged upon request but will incur additional charge.

Product Guarantee
The manufacturer guarantees all purchases for a period of one year, unless stated, from the date of invoice. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, dropping and damage resulting from exposure to sand or water, or if you return the product to our shop without proof of purchase.

If your product should fail within this period, our customer services department will arrange for repairs by return to the manufacturers authorized service agents.

The customer is responsible for the returning of any goods at their own expense.

Returns - "No Fault"
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund. It is your responsibility to return any such with their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return.

Pre-recorded video tapes, CD, minidisc and other software must be sealed. We cannot cancel your purchase when you return your product without proof of purchase, or if the seal has been broken on any software.

After this 7 days period, unwanted goods will only be accepted back at EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre discretion and be subject to a restocking charge of 15% of the value of the goods returned.

Returns - "With Fault"
If you have received a faulty product please contact our customer helpline. You can then either return the faulty item directly yourself or we will organise a collection from your home.

We will replace the product or refund your money when the product is returned with the original box and packaging, together with any free gifts offered with the product.

Our aim to replace products or refund your money does not apply to faults caused by neglect, misuse, dropping and damage resulting from exposure to sand or water. Generally, our service department will verify these products as faulty, or we will seek advice from the manufacturer or a manufacturer approved service agent.

If a pre-recorded video tape, CD, minidisc or other software is faulty under guarantee we will not repair it, but we will exchange it for the same title or refund your money.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims:
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us by telephone, email or in writing. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us of the shortage. It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods supplied. We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified as soon as possible in writing so we can investigate and resolve the matter quickly. If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account.

Shortages
It is the customer's responsibility to sign for all packages as shown on the delivery consignment note. Any missing packages must be noted on the consignment note before the driver leaves. It will be the customer's responsibility to notify EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre of any shortages.

In-Correct Goods
Any in-correct goods received must be notified to EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre as soon as possible. This would enable us to rectify the problem immediately.

Damage in Transit
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible by telephone, email, or writing.

If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card.

Security
The EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre website is 100% secure and authorised by Thawte Server CA. All credit card payments that are accepted are passed through the Thawte Server gateway before being submitted.

Data Protection
We will not email you in the future unless we have your consent, nor will your email address be passed to third parties.

These terms & conditions do not affect your legal rights and we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Force Majeure
The EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre will not be under any liability whatsoever in the event that the EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre is prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any goods by any reason or cause beyond the EDGWARE Hi-Fi Centre control.
